Advance a simple, brief hypothesis about what causes histamine release from mast cells that is consistent with all the data.

Mast cells contain granules of histamine which are released upon exposure to allergens.  Depending upon location and amount, this histamine-release can cause everything from watery eyes to life-threatening bronchospasm. It was long thought that this might have an immunologic  basis.  To probe this possibility, an investigator  generated  DNP-specific antibodies  of different isotypes.  He then added these antibodies to cultures of mast cells with DNP-coated latex beads or plain latex beads
