Experiment to determine the affinity for competitive antagonists at cholinoceptors in isolated tissues

All the information is in the attached files.  

The first 3 files provide a description of what the experiment was about, how we carried it out, and theory etc.



What i want you to do is look at the attachments and the following:

INTRODUCTION: A brief indication of the aims of the experiment, a definition of competitive antagonism, and of the parameters investigated and an indication as to why it is important to be able to determine pA2, kA etc. Include an indication of which subtype of muscuranic receptor is present in the tissue and how it brings about its response when activated.

METHOD: A mention of the general methods (very brief) and anything specific which is not covered in the schedule (eg weight and sex of animals used)
