Forecasting
The supervisor of a manufacturing process believes that assembly line speed(in feet/minute) affected the number of defective parts found during online inspection. To test this theory, managemnet had the same batch of parts inspected visually at a variety of line speeds. The follwing data were collected.
Line Speed Number of Defective Parts Found

Develop the estimated regression equation that relates line speed to the number of defective parts found.
Use the eqaution developed above to forecast the number of defective parts found for aline speed of 50 feet per minute.
