Purchase of shares in a PLC property company of choice
I have to recommend the purchase of shares in a PLC property company of my choice. This I can do and I am in the process of choosing a company. What I need to know is:
1) The potential effects of mergers and takeovers.
2) What criteria to use when recommending the company
3) What is the effect of the rise and fall of other sectors of the FTSE and other factors currently relevant to property industry.
4) Reasons for a particular size of investment I am recommending.
The solution discusses the basis for recommendation for purchase of shares in a PLC property company. The issues discussed are: potential effects of mergers and takeovers, the criteria to use when recommending a company for investment, the size of investment.
