Many organizations have established policies to remedy discrimination in hiring of women and minorities. Discuss whether or not you feel that affirmative action programs, reverse discrimination, and criteria of comparable worth are appropriate forms of remedy.

I approach this question by looking at the "big picture." What is the meaning of employment? What is the relationship between an employer and an employee? And, what does this have to do with providing a solution to the problem? It is in this light that I deal with the potential remedies of affirmative action and comparable worth in attempting to prevent discrimination in hiring policies and practices.
