Clinical Chemistry 3 algoritms

1.  Create an algoritm to distinguish the various forms of interference in a chem 7 profile. Include Lipemia, icterus, hemolysis, mishandling and various anticoagulants.  The Chem 7 profile includes: Na (Sodium) K+ (potassuim) CL (chloride) Glucose, Creatinine, BUN (Blood urea nitrogen) and Anion Gap.  This question is asking what would happen to theses results if the sample was lipemic, or hemolysized etc.


2.  Create an algorithm using available tests to distinguish the various myeloproliferative and lymphoproliferative disorders. Include in order from basic to advanced. you should include initial tests, stains, genetics and cell surface markers.

3. create an algoritm which wil allow you to distinguish between the various forms of renal disease.
