Crystal Formation; Mechanism/Reaction Formula: sn2 reaction - 1-bromobutane, diethyl ether and piperidine

1cm3 of diethyl ether and 1cm3 of 1-bromobutane are mixed in a test tube. Five drops of an amine, piperidine, are added to the tube. The tube is then heated until precipitate/crystals are formed. The crystals are taken out of the test tube.

1) What do the crystals consist of?
2) Write a mechanism/reaction formula for the reaction.
