electrophoreis w/ arginine, alanine, & aspartic acid-what happens

Describe what would happen if you conducted an electrophoresis of a mixture of arginine, alanine, and aspartic acid, using a buffer with pH of 7.0.  Should you place the mixture of amino acids at one end of the starch gel or in the middle?  A diagram may help.

**I know that smaller peptides migrate fastest so Alanine, aspartic acid, then arginine, but I'm still very confused.
