It was opened by Sydney five years ago, and Sydney currently operates the original store in Portland.

Recently, Sydney formed a partnership with a friend, Laurie, who lives in Seattle, Washington. Laurie and Sydney recently opened a second Stationery Stop location in Seattle, which Laurie manages.

Both Sydney and Laurie are interested in starting a Web site for The Stationery Stop, so their existing customers can submit stationery and custom orders online.
