Huffman Trucking

Huffman trucking is a national transportation company. The company's
1,400 employees work in its logistical hubs located in Los Angeles,
California, St. Louis, Missouri, and Bayonne, New Jersey; its central
maintenance facility is in Cleveland, Ohio; and as drivers of its 800
road tractors. The company expects to earn revenues during fiscal year
2004 in excess of $600,000,000.

Mission

Our mission is to be a profitable, growing, adaptive company in an
intensively competitive logistical services business environment.

We will accomplish this by:

Stockholders - every action and decision will be questioned/measured to
assure it is in the best interest of our stockholders.

Customers - provide efficient, reasonably priced, responsive and
competitive services in a customer friendly environment.

Regulatory - we will meet and exceed all safety and environmental
standards for our employees and our equipment.

Employees - we will be foremost in our industry in assuring that our
employees are compensated fairly, are adequately trained and are truly
team members in our business processes.

Stakeholders - we will maintain continuous awareness of our stakeholders
and apply the test of reasonableness to assure our business practices
are commensurate with stakeholder expectations.

Technology - we will be the industry leader in leveraging technology to
the maximum to provide customer service and business efficiencies.

History

Our company had its beginnings in 1936 as "H. Huffman Trucking" and
consisted of one tractor-trailer doing contract haul in and around
Cleveland, Ohio.

World War II created significant demand for carrier services between the
factories of the mid-west and from the factories to the ports on the
East Coast. Our founder, H. Huffman, was able to acquire sufficient
capital during this period to increase the fleet size of Huffman
Trucking to 16 tractors and 36 trailers by 1945. A significant amount of
the tonnage was for the US Government and established a business
relationship that exists to this day. After the end of the war, K.
Huffman joined his father and Huffman Trucking was incorporated in Ohio.

From 1948 through 1976 Huffman continued to experience significant
growth both from internally generated sales and from the acquisition of
5 Eastern regional carriers. With the Motor Carrier Act of 1980
deregulating the trucking industry, we were enabled to become a National
carrier.
