The Flaming Heart very important I get this questioned answered!

I have written a paper for my teacher in english class. My Teacher said however that the explication wasn't complete because I hadn't explained why the poet even bothered to criticize the painter in the poem to begin with. The poem is Richard Crashaw's The Flaming Heart(attached). Please help!
