My US history professor wants us to figure out the value and uses of a multicultural approach to US History.
We've been studying the time following the civil war (about 1865 to the early 1900's) and he thinks this multiculturalism should add to our understanding of the past...but I really don't get what he's talking about...if anyone could help me understand what/how this so called multicultural methodology will add to my appreciation of US History...I'd be real happy and relieved. I never heard of this before.
