Demographics & Culture of Peru

This project will be the focus of the remaining individual projects. You will be writing a research paper about a Latin American country of Peru. For this unit, research your country and write the first section of your paper (1-2 pages, APA format - Double Spaced):

Part I: Demographics and Culture

What are the demographics of your country (e.g., total population, age and gender distribution, rate of population growth, urban vs. rural population, etc.)?

How many people are there per square mile?

What was the population 20 years ago? 40 years ago?

Summarize the culture of your country. What are the typical values and beliefs shared by the population?

For your Unit 2 IP, do not simply list demographics and do not include additional demographic information.  Rather, provide a meaningful discussion and analysis of the demographics requested in the assignment question and thereafter how such trends reflect the overall cultural character of your nation of choice.  As always, take care to provide meaningful analysis of the information presented and to make sure to fully reflect required APA standards.
