Proving an Equality (Lagrange Interpolating Polynomials) *REPOST WITH CORRECTION*

This was posted yesterday and several OTA's notified me that it was possibly a misprint. I checked with the person who wrote the problem and indeed there was an error. I have changed the equality to equal zero instead of one, so it should be easier to solve now. Thanks!
