The neuro-psychological case: finding effective psychological and neurological solutions, for Mr. X's unique symptoms!

Are there any tutors who are willing to provide some insight into how you would solve his problem; if you were a neuro-psychologist?

I created this psychology case for my own, self-interest, in learning more about neuropsychology and the treatments that would be available to him.

Please give me as much feedback as you.  Feel free to give me both your personal & professional thoughts, insights, and suggestions in order to create a excellent research assignment for the case of Mr. X
Thank You!

Mr. X is a 30-year-old man. Recently, he showed increase signs of memory loss. This effected his professional, social, and academic functioning. He states that his greatest frustration is his inability to remember new information that was recently presented to him.

In addition to this, He is noticing that he is having more difficulty when assigned to write term papers in his psychology course.  He believes he must have some type of brain trauma or lesions that is causing his memory and writing impairments.  He states he no problems in his ability to communicate with others nor does he have difficulty solving complex problems or equations.

Mr. X consulted a neuro-psychologist to see if he has a mild form of brain damage. Therefore, the neurologist decided that neuro-psychological testing was warranted. He decided to use the WISC-IV to determine these conditions that he was experiencing.

The neurologist determined that the client has major deficits in both his working memory and processing speed.  The client’s working memory score was 85: while his ability to process information score was 80. His verbal IQ is 103.  His over-all -nonverbal score was 99. G factor is 101.

Yet, what is interesting were two subtest scores showed he had high verbal comprehension ability (124) including very high level abstract verbal reasoning (126).  A formal neurological exam was conducted including a “Spect” scan with Radioactive iodine to ensure that he had no signs physical signs of brain injury, lesions, or any abnormal brain structures. All tests results were negative.

Therefore, his diagnosed conclusion is not due to trauma or deterioration of the brain.

My question is:
What would your diagnosis be?
What type of treatment would you prescribe to help his condition?
Would you suggest psycho-pharmacological medications?
If so, then what kind of meds would be most effective?
What long-term treatments would be most effectively in treating the disorders?
