I would like you to check the first problem, and provide an answer( including values for Standard deviation,Mean,and Sample)
#1. Construct a 95% confidence interval for the population mean. Assume the population has a normal distribution. In a random sample of 26 computers, the mean repair cost was $174, with a standard deviation of $37.00.
My Answer; N=26, X=174, S=37 (159.06,188.94)
I am having trouble with part two;
Suppose you did some research on repair costs for computers and found the standard deviation is 37. Use the normal distribution to construct a 95% confidence interval for the mean. Compare the results.
