My responsibilities apart from monitoring and supervision of works involved extensive liaison work with clients, architects, and local groups. The job comprised of administration, tendering, award of works, management of contracts, materials management, and estate officer duties, etc.
My financial duties included preparation of estimates and budgets, management of expenditure within budgeted amounts, and getting the accounts prepared by the Accounts Branch.
