Message to Students
and/or Parents:
Teaching and researching law has so far been one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of my life. One of the challenges that this entails is helping the student identify, and, at the same time, distinguish “Law in the books” from “Law in action”. Although this might sound simplistic and straightforward it is an important step, which, if taken, can take them from understanding law as a normative concept to using it in practice. Assisting students not only to understand but also apply the norm is one of my primary objectives.
