1. "Late Modern Crises, and the Emergence of a New Becoming," in editor selected Internet publication Co-Gen, 1(1) July 2003: 8-32. This paper provides an overview of crises in the economy, medicine, the environment, and religion that people may variably experience in the late-modern period. In addition to outlining these possible challenges, I summarize some attributes of what an emergent future may entail. 2. "Fearless Foucault," in editor selected publication Critical Sociology, 29(3), November 2003. This publication is a book review of Fearless Speech, edited by Joseph Pearson - a transcription (from audio tapes) of a six-part lecture series given by Foucault at Berkeley in 1983 on the topic of parhessia, or speaking freely. 3. "Human-environmental interaction: towards an aesthetic of the future," in editor selected (Internet and print) publication Co-Gen, 1(2) November 2003. In this paper, I consider how adaptive lifestyles are embodied within objects and organizations. In Progress: 4. "Female Action Heroes: Different but Equal or Equal and the Same," to be submitted to the peer reviewed journal, Camera Obscura. In this paper, I consider the relatively recent ascension of women to the cinematic ranks of tough defending (mythic) characters. 5. "Ethics, Self-Formation and Truth: The Art of Living and Contemporary Lifestyles." In progress towards submission to the peer reviewed journal Theory, Culture and Society. In this paper I attempt to explore Foucault=s notions of ethics, self-formation, and truth, as they may relate to his use of the term 'art of living.' 6. I am currently in the process of editing my MA thesis, "Media Representation and the Case of Tracy Latimer," for journal submission. In this paper, I will summar-ize the results of my analysis of almost 400 case related items in four regional Canadian newspapers. |

During my university career, I have been able to maintain a solid 'A' average. Not because I am any 'smarter' that other students, but because I love what I do, and practice good study habits. Let me help you! |
