The organization that I work for produces molded plastic toys. The staffing plan is as follows:
The manufacturing operation is the most important department in firm because it makes the toys that my company sells. This department requires three workers per molding machine. Currently, there are eighteen molding machines so the total number of workers required is fifty-four. In addition, there will be one supervisor required for six workers. So a total number of nine supervisors will be required for manufacturing operations. The nine supervisors will report to a production manager. So the total number of employees required in the manufacturing department will be sixty-four.

The next department will be customer service. This will consist of ten operators that will interact direct with the customers. In case of customer service there will be one supervisor per five persons. The supervisor will also provide technical support to the customer service personnel when the situation demands. The two supervisors will report to the marketing manager. So the number of persons to be recruited for customer service will be twelve.

The next department is distribution. This will include the warehouse staff as well as logistics support staff. There will be four persons located at the firm's warehouses.
