His work, 'The Art of War' has been carried on through the various dynasties after the Zhou, appearing as part of the 7 Military classics Chinese scholars, especially military strategists must imbibe. It is made up o 13 chapters and details various skills related to the art of warfare, including military tactics and strategy.
