This means accepting Asian individuals as they are, treating them humanely, and affording them dignity. Asian cultures are collectivistic in which individuals are embedded in their group identity. In Asian cultures, importance is given to emotional restraint, religious practices, and female beauty. From the principle of acceptance, this means the treatment providers must assess their stereotypes and myths about Asians, should be aware of the common stereotypes, and should know the diversity in education and occupational achievement of Asians. The second principle is that of individualization (a). This means the social worker understands him as a particular human being, every client is unique, and the worker has to accept the client with all his strengths and weaknesses.
