My approach for discussing religion with a client in my community will be to provide spiritual support to clients to self-determine, and observe their faith without projecting onto the client's faith. I will not project my faith, religious beliefs, or spiritual beliefs onto those of my clients. I will not impose my beliefs on the clients and I will train myself not to cross the boundaries between my faith and my work. It is important to discuss religious faith because it determines how people feel about the world, about themselves, and how they act in their world (a).
