These notes related to norms. In particular, I will focus on the relationship between a standardized sample and a test norm.

While norms are useful for many types of the tests, they are actually quite critical for psychological assessments. This due to the fact that assessments geared for the discipline of psychology do not contain criterion references. This is meant to say - the client is not expected to has mastered any of the material contained in the test.
