Not what you're looking for?
In a few sentences each question, I will expand it, I need some idea and pointers, thank you!
1. Kevin's father has been advised by his physician to take an aspirin a day "to reduce his risk of heart attack." What is the physiological basis for this advice?
2. Natalya is concerned because her feces are a chalky white color. Explain why this might occur. Why should Natalya consult her physician?
(Hint: You didn't study what produces "chalky white" feces in this lesson. You DID, however, study what causes feces to be brown. Chalky white would be the absence of this color ... hmmm, maybe Natalya has a problem within this process?)

Q1. Aspirin has an antipalelet effect by inhibiting the production of thromboxane. Under normal conditions, thromboxane binds platelet molecules to generate a patch around damaged walls of blood vessels. Therefore, application of aspirin could prevent blood clot and thus reduce the chance of heart attacks. Clinically, aspirin has been used at low doses immediately after a heart attack to reduce the risk of another attack.
