The core aspects of leadership in the future include systems thinking, having a holistic approach to both business and personnel, project-based knowledge, mediation skills, vision and "bigger picture" thinking, and an ability to make decisions in an ever changing environment. Many of these skills are similar to current leadership skills and are the same as leadership skills have been throughout time. A leader's core skills include the ability to motivate others, innovative thinking and strategic thinking. These skills will remain the same even as we go into the future.
