For Instructional Purpose

First, we need to understand what ICMT stands for before we can proceed with the assignment. I performed research to find out what ICMT stands for in Business / Business Management / Managing Diversity. Pertinent result of my research shows that ICMT stands for Information Communication and Management Technologies (All Abbreviations, 2015). This basically entails communication devices or mechanisms an organization employs to convey information to its leaders and employees.

Traditionally, many organizations use face-to-face interaction in communicating with their employees. In the traditional setting, organizations would pick a location (meeting rooms, training classrooms, and event rooms, etc.) as the venue to gather their intended audience (employees) to convey their intended message. This involves face-to-face interaction whereby the presenter of the communication or message use ICMT strategy of effective communication and devices such as PowerPoint presentation, distribution of manuals, and role play session to convey a purposely message.

Advantages of Face-to-Face ICMT Strategy

• It allows the sender and receiver of a communicated message to interact instantaneously and simultaneously. This means that the sender and receiver can ask each other questions for clarification without delay, ascertain the exact meaning of any unclear communication and resolve any communication issue right away.
