Systems theory is one that examines multiple aspects of a system or organization through a holistic lens since there a many leadership approaches, styles, or techniques. Thus, systems theory incorporates all to provide broader viewpoints of two versions that may be open or closed.
The closed system of operation may be compared to the way Apple's computer software functions in that it is closed and not like 'shareware' where users may alter or improve the core system. The second or newer is an open system, such as open platforms like WordPress, Linux, or Wikipedia where information or services flow in/out with ease.
