As you discuss the Bill of Rights and its five modern implications, I suggest that Amendment I affects me the most with "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances" is so vital, to me, because I advocate freedom of speech, the media, and other expressions. Thus, I feel like this premise makes America the democratic nation that it is. It makes me free and able to express myself. This one also ensures that we can workshop as Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, etc. It makes America diverse.

Amendment X, too, is critical since it says, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people." Again, the power to the people is as vital as seen in the election of Obama. I felt so empowered to choose someone who is people-oriented.
