The Colombian coffee growing axis also called the Coffee Triangle is a part of the Colombian Paisa region in the rural area of Columbia which is famous for growing and production of a majority of Colombian coffee considered by some as the best coffee in the world. Coffee exports had affected the Columbian culture since the beginning of the 20th century when a new model to develop coffee exports already strengthened. Exports made cultivation of coffee very attractive for local farmers because it enabled them to make intensive use of land. Exports enabled coffee estate owners to practice intense agriculture without technical requirements and without sacrificing the cultivation of subsistence crops.
