In fact, in the "Suggested Minimal Guidelines for Nursing Homes or Other Long-Term Care Facilities" by L D H P Medical Review Services Corporation (Submitted December, 1999), one of the guidelines is for the long term care facility is to have malpractice insurance. Therefore, this too is a good indicator that malpractice insurance is necessary.
