For instance, communication is a cultural factor. It is a process by which information is exchanged between individuals through a common system of symbols, signs or behavior. Language is considered as an important aspect of communication in any culture, though information can also be conveyed through non-verbal behaviors such as gestures, attitude, position or proximity. The language used to communicate with people differs from one culture to the other.

For instance, in western countries such as the U.K, and Australia people are accustomed to be very open minded and can mingle easily with others irrespective of their age, gender, etc., Youngsters can communicate very freely with elders and the aspect of respect for elders, for instance, in the form of gestures, attitude, position and proximity inclusive of language used to communicate is of least importance. In other words, people in western cultures exhibit least conformity to set standards of communication. It is due to the fact that western cultures are highly individualistic in nature.

But, in eastern countries such as India, Pakistan, China, Japan, etc., people need to be very cautious and find it difficult to interact freely with others, as they come across many barriers ...
