From my understanding, dose proportional indicates a statistical concept in which there is a direct correlational relationship between the dose of a drug that is provided to an individual, and the maximum concentration level of that drug within the area administered (i.e. mouth etc.). Therefore, in order to provide an apt description of linear and dose proportionality on a graph, the vertical column would represent the level of concentration of the drug, and the bottom (horizontal) column on a graph would represent the dose of the drug.
