It is the study of how and why people think, feel and do the things they do depending upon the situation. It studies how people act in certain situations. It explains why stereotypes are formed, the existence of racism and sexism, why people fall in love and how a person can seem different in a particular situation. Social psychology is related to the study of sociology. But Social psychology focuses on factors such as race or socioeconomic class of an individual.
