On You Tube there is a video experiment called the Heist, I tried to hyper link the web site but it did not hyper link. In 2007, actor/reporter Darren Brown re-created Stanley Milgram's famous Obedience to Authority experiment as part of his United Kingdom television series, The Heist.

1). After viewing the 11 minute video, I was most surprised by how participants were so easily lured and manipulated into action by merely the alleged title or power position facade in order to engage in the crime. The facade of authority was so powerful in this case. I was so surprised by the overall obedience of people to act so wrongly. I was further really struck by how the sheer authority actually persuaded people to participate and even seemed to sort of condition them to a certain extent. I was also shocked at how his word choices and the use of color also encouraged crime participation ...
