Regression analysis on half life
Not what you're looking for?
The half-life of aminoglycosides was measured on 43 patients given either Amikacin or Gentamicin. The data are reproduced in a different form in Table 7.21.
(A) Perform a regression to estimate HALF-LIFE using DO_MG_KG for each type of drug separately. Do the drugs seem to have parallel regression lines?
(B) Perform the appropriate inferences on both lines to determine whether the relationship between half-life and dosage is significant. Use =0.05. Completely explain your results.
(C) Draw a scatter diagram of HALF-LIFE verses DO_MG_KG indexed by type of drug (use A's and G's). Draw the regression lines obtained in part (A) on the same graph.

Measures of Central Tendency
Tests knowledge of the three main measures of central tendency, including some simple calculation questions.
Know Your Statistical Concepts
Each question is a choice-summary multiple choice question that presents you with a statistical concept and then 4 numbered statements. You must decide which (if any) of the numbered statements is/are true as they relate to the statistical concept.
Measures of Central Tendency
This quiz evaluates the students understanding of the measures of central tendency seen in statistics. This quiz is specifically designed to incorporate the measures of central tendency as they relate to psychological research.
